  I would like to make a comment about Dana's previous post where she calls everyone on welfare parasites. In this day and age when many jobs only pay minimal wage there isn't the opportunity to save for the eventuality of loosing a job. For many people if they find themselves out of work welfare is a needy support system. Many people out there only barely make ends meet (the working poor) and are only a few pay checks away from this situation. Don't be so judgemental on people who have fallen on hard times. Yes there are people who abuse the system but don't paste everyone with the same label - "parasites".

  The lab hours used to be 9-12 pm but now has extended hours from 9-2 pm but without notice they flip the we are "No Longer taking Patients today.

  I have been to Merritt Hospital emergency dept twice in the last month. I was seen by a physician in a reasonable time frame consistent with the urgency of my visits. The staff were professional and respectful. No complaints from me.

  As it is "taxpayers" that pay for healthcare (even for the parasites on our social systems that don't pay a dime) it is beyond absurd not to at least expect adequate heath care! When Andrew or someone he loves "wake up dead" in a less than competent hospital, I wonder how he'll feel then about leaving a review to warn other patients.

  This 6-7 bed Emergengy room (band-aide center) has long waits during the days and at nights the nurses don't want to wake the doctor on call. That happened to me 4 nights ago..

  Why is anybody reviewing a hospital on google?? You people realize its not a hotel right? Do you think your review is going to change somebody's mind who needs an emergency room? Maybe try directing your misguided outrage somewhere useful
